Contact recreation activities are not recommended at these sites during and for up to two days after heavy rainfall due to the possibility of pollution from agricultural runoff, stormwater drains and sewage overflows.

Wait at least five days after significant rainfall upstream before gathering shellfish because of elevated bacteria levels. Check our Rivers and Rainfall page for rainfall data.
